Finding a trainer can be a challenge. At Discover You, your training program is tailored to your specific needs, goals and lifestyle.
As a Discover You client, we will help you connect to your body through movement. By showing you proper movement patterns and form you’ll learn how to fully engage your muscle groups from exercise to exercise. As you begin to discover what works best for you, you’ll see the benefits not only physically but in your overall confidence.
All personal training programs start with a free consultation. The purpose of this session is to better understand your goals and your current fitness level, as well as gives us a chance to get to know one another. In every session, it’s important you feel comfortable to share your personal fitness journey.
Following the consultation, we will develop your training program that improves overall flexibility, muscular strength, cardiovascular health, and most importantly, your confidence on your path to self-discovery through fitness.
At Discover You, the goal is to educate you, help you gain confidence, and allow you to find joy in movement for life. Movement isn’t just for the present, it is also for our future selves.
One-on-one training
One-on-one training happens in-person or virtually, so no matter where you are, we can work together. Sessions are sold as a single hour, 6-pack or 12-pack of sessions so that we are both committed to seeing your success. Training sessions are one our in length and can include strength training, barre, mat pilates, stretching & mobility components. A consultation and client intake form are completed prior to any commitment so that we are on the same page and ensure we are a good fit to work together.
Training is not only a time commitment, but a financial one too, so it is important to ensure that everyone is on the same page, and has clear expectations of each other. I personally love one-on-one training, because I can not only grow a stronger relationship with my clients, but I can experience first hand the confidence and success that someone can experience through training.
Program Designs
Program designs are the most independent approach. Clients meet virtually or in-person for one session to review the program and go over form. Clients then perform for the program for a suggested 4-6 weeks before returning for another updated training program. Programs are based off of the client’s goals and interests.
Before committing and creating a program, clients meet for a consultation so that the program can best reflect what they are looking for.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW LONG IS THE COMMITMENT TO A PERSONAL TRAINER?
One-on-one packages can be purchased as a single session, or in packs of 6 or 12 sessions. Program design is recommended to be renewed on a 4-6 week basis to continue building momentum and strength. The commitment is as long as you would like from there for any personal training options - but the longer you work with a trainer the more consistent and efficient your workouts will be, and therefore your results will vary depending on your commitment.
I WANT GUIDANCE WITH PROGRAMMING BUT I CAN'T COMMIT TO WEEKLY SESSIONS. IS THERE AN OPTION WITH LESS COMMITMENT?
Discover You offers program designs for those who need more assistance with programming but can't commit to weekly training sessions. We begin with a consultation before the program is created. The session can be virtual or in-person and is 1 hour in length to go over the program together. Clients typically work on the program for 4-6 weeks on their own before booking in a new session to receive an updated program.
I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU BUT I AM NOT LOCAL. IS THERE A WAY WE CAN STILL WORK TOGETHER?
Most definitely! Discover You offers both in-person and virtual training options. If you’re not local to me, we will set up a time to connect via Zoom for our sessions. There is the DY On Demand subscription platform with workouts that can be utilized from anywhere, at any time.
HOW DO YOU FIT INTO MY LIFESTYLE?
I come to you, or we meet virtually, making each session the most convenient with your busy schedule - whether that be in your home or in a gym setting. Alternatively, if you are seeking program design, the program is completed independently on your own, with one initial session to review the program.
COST?
